Daphne Moore is a radiant songwriter and performer whose music resists easy classification by genre. Rhythmic, melodic, lyrical, sexy, sad, soothing — her songs are both memorable and penetrating. She is a consummate storyteller whose music explores themes of alchemizing pain, reaching for love, and engaging with the exhilarating and often bewildering challenges of being human in the 21st century. With a magnetic presence and a voice that seems to come straight from the heart, Daphne has the rare gift of being able to create an intimate audience experience of feeling fully alive and present that can be so elusive in contemporary life.

Daphne started writing songs at the piano as a teenager but left the dream behind with the piano when she went away to college. Many years later, while sitting on the dunes at Baker Beach in San Francisco, she had the epiphany that it wasn't too late - to write more songs, to explore a new instrument, to chase lost dreams, to find her voice. She picked up a guitar that she played badly for a long time but eventually befriended, and she has now written over 100 songs and performed almost 1,000 times.

A lifelong seeker, Daphne draws inspiration from other singer-songwriters too numerous to name, including many of her contemporaries in the legendarily talented musical world of Marin County. She's currently working on recording and is looking forward to finally beginning to share some of her growing catalogue online in 2026.
